I Like It Deep ("we," "us," "ilikeitdeep.us") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it. If anything here doesn't make sense, email us at ilikeitdeep26@gmail.com and we'll explain it in plain English.

What we collect

• Purchases & subscriptions: When you buy a journal or subscribe to the blog for $5/month, your payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We receive your email address and purchase details, but we never see or store your card number.
• Blog comments: If you leave a comment, it's sent directly to our personal email inbox. It is not stored on the website or in any database — we read it, and if we post it publicly, only your name/initials and comment text appear on the site.
• Newsletter signup: If you enter your email to be notified about new journals or posts, we collect that email address so we can send you those updates.
• Journal requests & reviews: If you use the "Request a Journal" or "Submit a Review" forms, those also open an email directly to us and are not stored elsewhere.

How we use it

• To deliver the journal or blog access you paid for
• To send you updates you've asked for (new releases, blog posts)
• To respond to requests, reviews, or comments you send us
• To keep basic records for our own bookkeeping and taxes

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.

Third parties we use

Stripe handles all payments and subscriptions for us. Stripe has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your payment info, which you can read at stripe.com/privacy.

Our site is hosted on Railway and our code is stored on GitHub — standard hosting providers that keep the site running, but do not have access to your personal purchase or comment data beyond standard web server logs (like your general location and browser type).

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Stripe may use its own cookies during checkout to process your payment securely.

Your choices

• You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time by emailing us and asking to be removed.
• You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing ilikeitdeep26@gmail.com.
• Cancelling your $5/month blog subscription can be done directly through the payment confirmation email Stripe sent you, or by emailing us and we'll cancel it on our end.

This blog includes honest, personal writing about mental health, relationships, and intimacy. It's shared for connection and reflection, not as medical or professional advice. If something you read here brings up something heavy, please reach out to a therapist, doctor, or a crisis line in your area — you deserve real support, not just a blog post.
