The Pattern I Keep Repeating

Looking back at my beautiful life and all the challenges I've faced, I sure do love to self-sabotage things. It must be something wired into me — every few years, once things are going decently, some part of me says "let's fuck shit up."

A little bit about my past: I'm actually a pretty good dog groomer. Right out of high school, I went to a pretty ghetto dog grooming school. Then I worked at a few salons until I met this amazing lady named Trish. Trish was a lot older than me — maybe fifteen to twenty years — but she was really cool. I learned a lot from her, and we ended up leaving the salon where we met and opening our own little dog grooming shop together, called Precious Paws of Maplewood...
