This weekend I was invited out by my older girlfriend (57), who asked her friend (39) to come join us. I'd met this girl my age before — she's chill and down to earth. During our time together, all three of us, the older friend started getting a little jealous.
I bit my tongue when she made comments, because I know myself, and if I said something it would come out sideways and ruin the friendship. I ignored it — my personality is more dominant than hers, and I say exactly how it is. She wouldn't want to hear it. Out of respect for everyone, I let it slide. I'm very open and brutally honest at times, and I don't tolerate much disrespect, but this was a weird situation...
